Sometimes I put quotes around "my quotes." Also, I might quote someone quoting and will quote the quotes. Ry Guy said that I said, """I'll break your face.""" Notice how I quoted his quotes.
Maybe his "calculator" was just a cardboard cut-out made to look like a real calculator.
